The scene opens in a screening room where Rayvn Nightshade is shown sitting on the front row.
"As much as I love to train for a big match, I even feel more excited when I study film and research, just like a hunter planning a strategy for the latest attack. It’s one of the best things about loving to compete for me: the ability to “size up my competition”. Knowing how much I have to step up my game to assure them that they will not be victorious. For this match though, it feels like some kind of a Hollywood blockbuster. So allow me to set the tone in such a way."
As she looks towards the large screen, Ravyn clears her throat and put on her best impression of the famous voice-over in a movie trailer.
"In a world of anarchy and disarray, one city becomes the centerpiece of an epic battle for survival. Four intense warriors are thrown into the midst of a confrontation, in which only one will not only survive, but to determine the future and control it as they see fit."
Just then, footage of Gideon Hazard in action is shown on the big screen as Ravyn observes.
"Gideon Hazard. Not new to the business and has been quite the impactful player in other leagues. He has brazed through the strenuous amount of pressure he had to endure night after night. But that kind of stuff really does wear and tear on the body doesn’t it? The strengths that made him invincible from the start starting to wither away through every match he enters in: the endurance, the stamina, the technique, all those tools advantageous to him throughout his career in surviving a match may not be as sharp as it was 10 years ago when you stepped into this business. And although his knee may have gone through surgical improvement, it doesn’t mean he could be back to where he used to be. And with three opponents who are apparently younger than he is, he can’t possibly be face to face with them in that ring without having that thought in the back of his mind of what they might do when they lock up, with an arsenal that is naturally not at its most optimum level; to a point the even craftiness and experience may not be enough for him to overcome the inevitable."
Within seconds, the next piece of footage is being shown on the big screen. This one is of William Levon.
"There has to be credit given to a person like William Levon, a wrestler who’s been flying high in one organization. And we’re not just talking about your stupendous speed, aerial abilities and willingness to survive long periods of time in the ring. He was the first to hold the top championship and he was very much unstoppable. That was until he lost focus and fell back to earth when he lost it. And then there is the drama filled force that kept him down; a nutcase named Priscilla Price & Alice Autumn, a woman he apparently loved & defended who traded him in for another man. Though he swears up and down that your mind is fully cleared of it and focused to get “back in the hunt”, he’s only playing himself. And with one of these women being one of the opponents in this match, one can only tell if his mind will leave his focus to win and transfer onto the relentless annihilation of his “former stalker” just so he can get some kind of redemption for himself."
Just then, footage of Priscilla Price in action is shown on the big screen as Ravyn observes.
"Some may say Priscilla Price may be the most clever and resilient competitors in the business. When one looks at her, one would never believe that she had a career as a wrestler, let alone being a competitive one. But she has proven many people wrong and, just like William Levon, she has etched her name in the ledgers of success in professional wrestling…only in not so traditional circumstances. The best way to describe Priscilla is that of a cockroach. No matter how many times you try to kill it, it pops up somewhere else to annoy you. Whether it’s her incredible speed & agility, decent stamina, or just being sneaky, Priscilla very much resembles a cockroach. But the important thing that she is well equipped to survive, like the other two competitors. And it’s going to take the right person to exterminate them all: a woman who is clearly the major threat for all of them."
Just then, the footage ends.
"And you’re looking at that dominant exterminator, mates."
