BIOGRAPHY
Grew up in the Midwest, Jason got into sports at an early age. By the time he was 8, he was already playing baseball, hockey and football in school. At the age of 10, he got into martial arts. He trained karate in a local dojo in Chicago and obtained a black belt when he was 14. An injury obtained from playing football in college sidelined him from all his sports activities and that’s when he started hanging out at underground punk rock and hardcore venues. He fell in love with culture especially the art of tattooing and the Straight Edge lifestyle (which he began adhering to at the age of 20). Jason began apprenticing for a local tattoo shop and eventually became a tattoo artist himself. When turned 25, he moved back to his hometown of Crown Pointe, Indiana where he put up his own tattoo shop. In that shop is where he met then Spitfire Pro Wrestling competitor Ricky Ian Pierce who he tattooed a bunch of times. Jason mentioned in one of their conversation that he used to dabbled in martial arts when he was younger and that’s when RIP invited him to train at the Spitfire Pro Wrestling Academy. RIP was so impressed at Jason’s athleticism and striking that he invited him to a Spitfire Pro Wrestling event in which where he met Stryke Dojo owner, pro wrestling legend and, at that time, Spitfire Champion Adam Stryker. They hit it off and Stryker invited him to Los Angeles to train. With his fire for competition rekindled, Jason moved to Los Angeles a couple of weeks later. He began training at the Dojo under the tutelage of Stryker himself and Jason Richardson. The rest, as they say, is history.
