The scene lights up showing a computer screen with the Metro:Pro website loaded on it, the mouse clicks refresh and a new link appears on the website, Hazard's Perception. A new podcast released by GBH, Gideon Hazard, starring Gideon Hazard and Conor O'Reilly. The mouse clicks it and static begins to sound through the speakers until a London accent is heard.
"Ladies, Gents, Guys, Gals, Lads and Lasses.. as you can hopefully hear from this voice you're listening to none other than Metro:Pro's very own Gideon Hazard, and I'm in the much more comfortable environment behind a microphone, instead of infront of a camera. It's the eighteenth of November and this is my latest installment of Hazard's Perception, and with me is none other than my old friend and tag team partner from the good old day, the Hyjinx himself, Conor O'Reilly. How yo doin' mate?" A new voice, a stong Irish accent is heard through the speakers.
"Haha, I am doing great mate. Life is good and I'm enjoying it. But people aren't listening to this to hear about me, they're here for you. Even though we all know that if you spoke your mind, you'd be speechless!" O'Reilly can be heard laughing as he continues.
"I mean come on Gideon my lad, what're you doing getting back in the ring? You should leave it to the men like me, I'm..." Hazard cuts him off before he can continue.
"Shut up Conor, you'll never be than man your mother is." Conor can be heard starting to cackle in the background as Hazard continues.
"You're a fool Hyjinx." Gideon says as he can be heard trying to stifle his laugh, with O'Reilly continuing to laugh at the latest trade of insults.
"We're here to address the Metro:Pro fans, my opponents this week and that's it. No more tomfoolery." O'Reilly can be heard trying to compose himself.
"You're right, you're right. I'll be a good boy, I promise." There's a brief pause of silence before he continues.
"So what's with this Priscilla cailin? I've heard all about her reputation, she's got quite a past.. seems like my type." Hazard can be heard laughing. "And you seem to have gotten off on the wrong foot with my future ex-wife. Why'd you go and say such nasty things about her? What was it? A walk over?" There's little silence as GBH offers a sharp response.
"I don't even recall saying that? Where'd she even come up with that crap?" A chuckle can be heard from O'Reilly.
"Well, lucky for you my lad I've been doing some research. And you did in fact say this in your Ask.Me response. You're a bad man Mr Hazard. So disrespectful, I can't believe I call you a friend." He ends with sarcastically.
"Ah, I remember, and if you're future ex-wife was clever enough to read a full sentence rather than snippets, that trog might have got her facts straight. Not only did I say that being a rookie she could be a walk over, I also said she was an unknown quantity and could be very dangerous, I told it how it was and this is the last I'll talk of it." Gideon says abruptly and calmly.
"Hey, leave my cute little trog alone Mr. Mardy Bum. You'll be the best man at our wedding so you need to start getting along." O'Reilly states as he stifles a laugh.
"You're delusional mate." Hazard says as O'Reilly sarcastically gasps.
"Well I never. And after I have been tirelessly studying the tapes of all of your opponents. I know their strengths their weaknesses and now I won't tell you that you and that very scary lookin' Huntress are pretty much the male and female equivalent of each other in the ring, and whilst her strength a strike power may be superior to you, she'll never be able to last as long as you in the ring. And we all know a fatal four way requires a hell of a lot of stamina and endurance. And because you've insulted my precious Priscilla, there is not a chance that I'm going to tell you that Levon can move around the ring with the speed of a young me, and if we were friends right now I'd tell you that his real weakness was in your favour as the poor lad can't cope when put in a submission hold. But I'm just not gonna tell you Gideon, forget it!" States Conor.
"Erm thanks I guess..."
"I don't know what you're thanking me for! Anyway, I'm not done..." O'Reilly says before being interrupted.
"Yes you are! Thanks for joining me folks... and him I guess. We'll talk again soon!" Gideon says as the podcast comes to a close.
