ALLIANCE
In addition to the individual feuds that will unfold during your tenure with MetroPRO, management would like to make it clear upfront that there is a great divide between the the two co-owners of the organization, Mort Goodman, Esq. and Marty Sunshine, Esq. A line has been drawn, and management would like to know where you stand. Your decision will impact how you are treated by management, and will be taken into consideration in the matchmaking process, as well as consideration for backroom bonuses in return for the undertaking of certain tasks for the cause. (You are also permitted, but not required, to give a reason, which will also be considered by management for future purposes).
[x] Team Mort
Reasons: Once IWA announced it was closing its doors, Weston received a call from Mort Goodman, Esq. Mort explained that, due to unspecified legal circumstances, he was now the co-owner of Metro:PRO wrestling. He went on to explain that he did his research and Weston was the embodiment of his vision: pure wrestling. After talking about the company for a bit, Mort faxed a contract to Weston who, after thorough examination, signed and faxed the contract back to him, completing the signing. Having met with Metro:PRO staff members, Marty Sunshine has been scarce where Weston is concerned. Nothing between Marty and Weston has ever gone beyond passing greetings. Weston himself knows little of the two so he maintains no opinions and respects the corporate structure. However, due to Marty's lack of interest in Weston and Mort's aggressive involvement with bringing Weston aboard and love for pure wrestling, Weston feels much closer to Mort.
ADVERSARIES
Wrestler: Carter Hayes
Reasons: Weston does not truly dislike anyone and definitely not Carter Hayes. It's quite the opposite in fact. Having seen tape on Carter and almost having faced him before the unfortunate demise of IWA, he greatly respects Carter and his technique. He recognizes the challenge that Carter poses to his opposition and Weston is nothing if not up for a challenge.

In-Ring Strengths: Weston is incredibly analytical and tends to stay steps ahead of his opponent. Using quick recognition, he often counters others' moves quickly to gain the offensive. His knowledge of the human body and nervous system provides him insight in regards to his technical prowess, thus making his submissions incredibly painful.
In-Ring Flaws: Weston is not typically the strongest of the two competitors in the ring and thus he can be overpowered if caught in a precarious situation. Additionally, his cerebral technique typically causes him wait to react to his opponent unless a clear opening presents itself. Because of this, he is more conservative when at a vertical base.
In-Ring Attitude: Weston is completely focused. His goal is to end the match in his favor as quickly as possible. He will never showboat or gloat, preferring to save his energy for his arsenal of submission holds.

BIOGRAPHY
CHILDHOOD
Not much about Weston's childhood is known. His father was a microbiologist and his mother was a cardiothoracic surgeon. Because of this, they were moderately wealthy but also always busy. Though Weston was very successful in school, his personality was questioned. Weston attended regular meetings with psychiatrists and psychologists throughout his childhood. Rumor has it that Weston was autistic but no such proof exists as doctor-patient confidentiality kept any information about the nature of the sessions or results absolutely airtight. What we do know is that no litigation was ever brought against Weston's parents which indicates that Weston was not abused or neglected. Weston has been on the record as saying that he has no mental illness, rather that his mind is vastly superior to anyone he has ever encountered.
WRESTLING
In high school, Weston decided to join the wrestling team. While he remained undefeated through his senior year, his coach never pushed him as a top ranked wrestler keeping him from major attention and away from top-level talent. Weston's matches were always won convincingly making him appear bored at times in the middle of the match. His coach described him as a 'time bomb waiting to explode.' He was afraid to push him into the spotlight, fearing he would do something dangerous and make the school liable. When asked why he felt that, the coach merely shook his head and said, "I've just... got that feeling, you know?" His coach's fears would be realized his senior year as a misunderstood instruction from his coach caused him to badly injure his opponent. Weston suffered his only loss that day as his antics got him disqualified. He was kicked off of the team but maintained his passion for wrestling.
COLLEGE LIFE
Weston attended college at Stanford in California, quite the hike from his residence in Weston, CT. He was not permitted to try out for the wrestling team as coaches quickly received word of why Weston was kicked off of his high school team. They were not willing to give him a chance. He was able, however, to find private venues in which he could put his skills to use. While underground fighting was known much more to be a fighting forum than wrestling, Weston was still able to find quite a bit of success never getting seriously injured and becoming reknowned for his level of skill without having to be a striker. Though he made the Dean's list both his freshman and sophomore year, he dropped out as college was not keeping his interest.
MMA
Weston began traveling to enter in amateur MMA tournaments. While acclaimed as a 'technical genius,' he never received the type of recognition someone of his skill should. Recognition was made mostly of powerful strikers as knockouts were much more exciting than a comprehensive ground game. After a while, he was turned away from amateur MMA tournaments as they insisted he was no longer an amateur and did not qualify.
PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
Unbeknownst to him, he was being watched at MMA events by a man named Jonathan Gold. Jonathan saw his technique as a sight for sore eyes and, when he was unable to find events to enter in, Mr. Gold got in touch with Weston personally. He advised him that he would be perfect for Professional Wrestling. Mr. Gold was an agent primarily for the sport but occasionally dabbled in other ventures. He provided him the resources to train and learn the finer points of professional wrestling. While Weston wasn't exciting in his approach to the sport, he was very effective and adapted well to the new rules of the sport. While he worked out to stay in shape, he never truly dedicated himself to it, insisting that he didn't need to - "I'll end the match quickly, leaving no need for any of the excess."
Jonathan Gold then found that the Internet Wrestling Alliance had an opening for a wrestler and was quickly in touch. Then-owner Athena Redding was quick to agree to terms and signed Weston to the months-old federation. Weston won his debut match, a tag team match against Asim Kassab and Herschel Smallwood with partner Xandor Kalel. Weston ended the match by forcing Asim Kassab to submit. Shortly after, however, Athena would sell the company to the Newman family. The Newmans, also interested in Weston's abilities, offered him the opportunity to stay on board and even gave him a match for the National Title, a newly created title meant for pure wrestling. His opponents were Travis Black, Sabrina Scott, Nate Harrington (later removed due to injury), Blade Connors and Carter Hayes. While plenty of back and forth occurred between the competitors, the match never happened as the Newman family failed to get the company off the ground.
Weston was contacted not long after IWA closed its doors for good by Mort Goodman, lawyer, father of the final IWA World Champion Grace Taylor, and manager of Carter Hayes. Mort had a greater appreciation for Weston's skills than did Athena Redding and the Newmans as he strongly recruited him to join Metro:PRO. At his urging, Weston signed with Metro:PRO to compete against some familiar, and unfamiliar, faces.
