INT. JACOB JAVITS CENTER - BACK STAGE AREA - EVENING
We open up back stage with Marty Sunshine, standing beside Jack Owyns and Vladimir Vishnevsky.
Marty: So Mort is back tonight. I wish he would have stayed away like last week, but now I have to look at that smug grin all night. Five qualifiers! Five potential titlists coming out of his camp! And worst of all, one of them is that loathsome daughter of his. Whatever happens tonight, whatever it takes, she does not walk out of here a winner. Understand?

OPENING SEQUENCE
We hear the opening rift of Kanye West's Black Skinhead, which is is accompanied by a montage of scenes cut together representing a highlight reel of the Metro:PRO roster-- we catch a Temper Tantrum from Carter Hayes, an arm bar from Luna, a stomp from Ravyn Nightshade. We see Jack Owyns pounding on an opponent, which dissolves into Liz Smalls taking out an opponent with a super kick. This is followed by a jump cut to a vicious clothesline by Jimmy Kort, and then a death defying leap by Will Levon. It's scene after scene, the cuts from one scene to next picking up in velocity, with everyone on the roster being represented, until finally, through the power of special effects, a bullet pierces the screen, and the graphics shatter, revealing behind them the title:

INT. JACOB JAVITS CENTER - EVENING
We open with an overhead shot of the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, taking in the sizable crowd on their feet waiting for the action to start. Slowly, our shot descends upon ringside, where we are met up with the Metro:PRO commentating team.
Ian Wright: Folks, welcome to the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. We are alive for Killshot #3, and I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but following what went down last week at Killshot #2 and all of the controversy and corruption at the hands of Marty Sunshine and in the absence of Mort Goodman, it is a breath of fresh to see Mort back in the building.
Jack Cameron: Well Mr. Wright, Mort has been receiving a lot of criticism this week for his silence in the wake of the destruction at the hands of his co-owner, Marty Sunshine, who, under his watch, we saw multiple firings and multiple botched outcomes in critical matches.
Ian Wright: One of those matches involved Dazielle Molaroni, who was forced to compete in back to back cage matches, and fell short in the second to Weston Alexander, who will take on Grace Taylor tonight in our main event.
Jack Cameron: And in our co-main event, we're gonna see a Pure Title semi-final match between Lava and Morgan LeFaye, who have absolutely taken control of social media this week and promoted this fight like there is no tomorrow. I can not way to see this fight.
Ian Wright: But we're gonna start things off right now in a match that carries title implications between Michael Harrison and Kaiden Hawke. What was originally set as an evenly matched singles match to kick off the evening has turned into a Pure-Title quarterfinal match, with the winner taking on Ravyn Nightshade next week following Liz Small's departure from the company.

What was originally set as an evenly matched singles match to kick off the evening has turned into a Pure-Title quarterfinal match, with the winner taking on Ravyn Nightshade next week following Liz Small's departure from the company.
MICHAEL HARRISON V. KAIDEN HAWKE
From the Bell: Both men circle, feeling each other out. A tie up ensues and the two men dance around the ring seeking control. Harrison backs Kaiden into a turnbuckle. Following an initial clean break, Harrison unleashes a series of brutal knife hand chops to the chest of Hawke. Harrison whips Kaiden into the opposite turnbuckle and Kaiden hits with a thud. Harrison charges in and connects with a vicious clothesline, and follows up with a series of boots to Hawke's head.
4:12 So far, Harrison's experience has shined as he has been in control of this one. Momentum shifts when he throws Kaiden's legs between his legs with the intention of lifting Hawke for a pile driver. However, Hawke back body drops Harrison, and then takes to the ropes, receiving Harrison on the bounce back with a flying forearm as Harrison was coming to his feet. Hawke goes for a cover one ONE! TWO! KICKOUT by Hawke!
7:00 Hawke has been maintaining control for the last few minutes. While he maintains a headlock on Harrison, Ravyn Nightshade comes down to ringside and has a seat, scoping out her competition for next week. Harrison gets to his feet, but the headlock is still applied; Harrison back it up to the ropes and pushes Hawke against the ropes and meets him with a standing dropkick. Harrison waits for Hawke to get to his feet, and then charges at him with a clothesline that takes them both over the top ropes.
8:20: Kaiden and Harrison are exchanging blows on the outside. The action unfolds in front of Nightshade, who is just observing. Harrison uses a suplex to take Kaiden down to the cement floor, and then pops to his feet and begins showboating to Ravyn, pointing at the downed Hawke, telling her that this is what she has waiting for her next week. Harrison pulls Kaiden to his feet and rolls him into the ring.
Final Moments: With Kaiden laid out in the center of the ring, Harrison hops to the apron, and goes to the top. He again diverts his attention to Ravyn on the outside, and two engage in a war of words. Meanwhile, Hawke has gotten to his feet, having had a moment to recover. Harrison jumps off for a drop kick, but Kaiden times it and catches him in a sitout power bomb for a cover one ONE! TWO! THREE!
WINNER - KAIDEN HAWKE via pinfall, 10:27
After the Match: Harrison looks pissed and is blaming Ravyn's distraction on his loss. He storms out of the ring, pointing at Ravyn on the way back to the lockers, indicating that she hasn't heard the last of it.
Ian: Well there you have it, next week we will get Ravyn Nightshade and Kaiden Hawke in the semi-finals of the Pure Title tournament to see who takes on the winner of Lava and Morgan leFaye-- a fight that takes place later tonight.
CUT TO: PROMOTIONAL PIECE
We get a montage of clips from both Lava and Morgan le Face, and the increasingly tense war of words between the two throughout the week.
--:Lava: No Morgan, I am not afraid of you. I'm not afraid of losing to you. Because honestly, I never let that thought enter my mind.
I can only envision victory, my arm around your neck.
--Morgan: "It won’t matter how strong you are, when a body falls fast and from great height…whoever is landed on is going to be hurt.”
--Lava: I assure you, you won't be fighting a corpse this week, Magi.
--Morgan: Admit it. I’m a threat. Not just to you, but to what you stand for. Our match isn’t just about the title, it’s about a clash in ethics.
--Lava: I'm smart enough to counter what you bring to the table, Morgan, while you're not even smart enough to recognize what it is that I bring.
--Morgan: And when I say I'm going to make you acknowledge me as a fighter? That's no lie. It's not even a damn magic trick.
--Lava: Come Sunday night, I'm going to beat you. And then I'm going to keep moving forward., And you'll be left alone with all of your illusions.
--Morgan: But, I suppose the only thing to do is show her that magic does exist. Because when Lava cools...it's harmless. ZVARRI~

INT. JACOB JAVITS CENTER - RINGSIDE
We're back at ringside with Ian and Jack.
Ian: Wow. That has been going on all week, folks. They've been relentless, with neither giving an inch. That one is still to come tonight, but right now we're going back to the ring to see Kaiden Hawke's better have, Alice St. James, as she takes on Dazielle Molaroni in singles action.
From the Bell: A collar and elbow tie up, and Dazielle just tosses Alice across the ring, showing her superior strength. Instead of following up on an attach, Dazielle waves Alice to her feet. Alice gets up, and we get a second tie up from the two, and again, Dazielle out-muscles Alice, hurling her into the turnbuckle. Dazielle charges in this time, but Alice ducks under and attempts a quick schoolboy roll-up for surprising two count. Dazielle kicks out and pops to her feet, only two be met with a swift arm drag take down as Alice lets her superior technique shine. Two arm drags and a hip toss follow, and Dazielle rolls to the outside to regroup.
3:20 Dazielle has regrouped and returned to her strengths-- raw power and speed-- sending Alice against the rope and connecting with a solid power slam and securing a two count. This once quickly devolves into a brawling contest, much to the advantage of Dazielle has she uses brutal kicks, punches and forearms to slow down Alice. A super kick catches Alice flush on the chin, and it is only the bottom rope that saves St. James from a pin fall.
5:40 A missed turnbuckle splash by Dazielle gives Alice the opportunity to take the offense, and she capitalizes with a standing moonsault into a full mount of Dazielle. She begins throwing fists, causing Dazielle to turn to her back for refuge. Alice seeks to sink in a rear naked choke as Dazielle gets to her hands and knees. Dazielle is now on her feet, but Alice is on her back and has the rear naked choke sunk in. With Alice on her back, Dazielle climbs to the second turnbuckle and jumps off, falling back onto Alice, causing her to break the hold, and allowing Dazielle to seek a cover of ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!
8:21 Alice remains winded from the thud of having Dazielle fall on her from the second turnbuckle, and Dazielle makes use of the opportunity, nearly taking Alice's head off with a Pele kick. Dazielle pulls up Alice and executes a slingshot suplex and then takes to the top turnbuckle. She waits for Alice to get to her feet, and Dazielle fakes a dive from the top; Alice initially and instinctively ducks, but Dazielle never jumped; and when Alice raises her head from her attempted feint, Dazielle dives from the top hand hits Alice with a flying bulldog for a cover one ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!
Final Moments: Dazielle has dominated over the past several minutes, and Alice has had no answer. However, Alice comes up in a clutch moment, with a spinning heel kick that shifts the tide. She pulls up Dazielle and uses a Russian leg sweep to down Dazielle Alice takes to the top and comes off with her Down the Rabbit Hole corkscrew shooting star press for a cover of a ONE! TWO! THREE!
After the Bell: Kaiden Hawke runs down and hugs Alice. The two celebrate in the ring as Dazielle gets her wits about her following a dominant performance that happened to turn on a moment's notice.
Ian: Folks, coming up we have a semifinal match in the tag team tournament, with two of Marty Sunshine's teams going at it-- or, are they both still Marty Sunshine teams? Earlier this week, we saw a drunken Lora Shaw spill out some harsh words for the Metro:PRO co-owner. She swears that the footage was edited; but an intimidated Vinny Metro has insisted otherwise. We're going back stage now with our very own Meadow Leigh, who has caught up with the Metro:PRO co-owner.
CUT TO:
INT. JACOB JAVITS CENTER - BACK STAGE AREA - CONTINUOUS
We are in the hallway of the back stage area of the Jacob Javits Center, where Meadow Leigh is standing with Marty Sunshine
Meadow Leigh: Folks, with me now is Metro:PRO co-owner Marty Sunshine. Mr. Sunshine, you've seen the video, you've heard the explanation, you've reviewed the raw footage. Tell us what is on your mind.
Marty snickers. He shakes his head.
Marty: It's tough, lonely position being in power, Meadow. You never know who your real friends are. You never know who you can trust. This week, I had to find out the hard way that two people who I thought knew a thing about loyalty are nothing more than a couple of back stabbers. I have reviewed the raw footage extensively. I have had my private investigator, Lenny Fieldstone, analyze the footage; and what we have seen was not the result of fancy editing, but is rather an honest reflect of Lora Shaw's heart, and that saddens me.
Meadow Leigh: So will there be any ramifications for the Shaws? Are their jobs in jeopardy?
Marty chuckles.
Marty: Meadow, what do I look like? Some sour grapes sally who fires people for my own personal gain? Hardly. It's water under the bridge. They will get to keep their job- if, of course, they win their match tonight. And I wish them the best of luck in their "Submissions Not Allow" tag team title qualifier this evening.
Meadow Leigh: I'm sorry, did you say "Submissions Not Allow" match?
Marty Sunshine: Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that? In light of the sudden resignation of Liz Smalls earlier this week, I have made an executive decision until that match can be more formally reviewed, the Shaws submission tactics will be deemed presumptively illegal; and any submission attempt by the Shaws this evening will be grounds for an automatic disqualification.

INT. JACOB JAVITS CENTER - EVENING
We are back at ringside with Ian Wright and Jack Cameron.
Ian Wright: This guy is incredible. When will it stop!?! And where is Mort Goodman to step in?
Jack: Well to be honest, Mr. Wright, I'm not so sure we're gonna see Mort Goodman step in on this one. After all, prior to this announcement, three out of four tag team semifinalists came out of the Team Sunshine camp, with the team of Allyana Rivera and Anya Leigh Castello being the only representatives of Team Goodman.
Ian Wright: Well that one is still to come; but right now, it is time for the first of two Empire Title semifinal matches, this one between Aura Williams and William Levon.
At the Bell: Aura comes out aggressively and batters Will with a forearm across the side of the head, catching him off guard. She's on top of Will like white on rice, and uses a flurry of knees and elbows to keep Will off his feet. She grabs hold of his legs and slingshots him into the turnbuckle. Rising to her feet, she charges at Will and grabs his head, jumping over the top rope, draping his neck against the top rope. With Will flat on his back in the ring and Aura standing on the outside, she reaches in and pulls him by the leg toward the corner post and rams his leg against the post.
3:55 Aura has taken back to the ring and has employed a smart strategy of working Will's leg to slow down the otherwise speedier Levon. Will tries to pull himself up in the corner, but Aura gets the back of his head and subjects him to repeated turnbuckle smashes. Will falls to his face and Aura takes to the top rope. She leaps off for a leg drop but Will rolls out of the way and Aura's ass is hurting. Will slowly gets to his feet, but he is on shaky ground, given the damage that has been done to his leg earlier in the match.
5:14 Will is starting to work out the kinks in his leg, and has regained some of his much needed speed, keeping Aura guessing with a series of "off the rope" maneuvers, complete with ducks, slide throughs and leap frogs-- each time connect with a high impact move, such as a drop kick, clothesline, and flying elbow. With Aura down, Will runs to the ropes, hops to the second, and springboards off for a moonsault and a cover of ONE! TWO! KICKOUT by Aura.
7:26 Aura has found a way to come back in this one when Will once again jumped to the second for a springboard move, only to be drop kicked over the top by Williams. Levon hits the concrete floor and is slow working his way up on the outside. As he gets to his feet, he's met with a baseball slide by Aura Williams that pushed Levon into the railing. Aura uses a belly to back suplex to bring Will to the floor on the outside.
10:04 Will Levon has been busted open when Aura introduced his head to the ring post on the outside, but it has not taken the fight out of him. He is trading blows with Williams inside the ring, and getting the better of the exchange. A spinning back fist catches Aura flush and sends her to the mat. Levon pulls her up and nails her with a DDT. He gets a two count, but Williams still has some fight in her.
Final Moments: The final moments come when Will attempts to life Williams for a belly to back suplex. Aura falls behind him and lifts him for her own suplex, holding it for the pin. Both parties have their shoulders to the mat. Referee Chris Clemons makes a cover for a count of ONE! TWO! Will gets his shoulder up. THREE!
WINNER, Will Levons, via pinfall, at 13:00.
After the bell: Will and Aura get to their feet and shake hands on a hard fought match. Will is a crimson mess, but basking in the glory of his birth in the Empire Title Finals.
Ian Wright: Will Levon advances to the finals of the Empire Title tournament. Who will he face? Well, it will either be Grace Taylor or Weston Alexander. That one is still to come. But first, it is time for the first of two tag team semifinal matches. This one is going to put Angelina Bellini and Priscilla Price against Allyana Rivera and Anya-Leigh Castello.
From the Bell: Angelina and Allyana start as the legal participants. They shake hands, much to the dismay of Priscilla who is screaming for Angelina to be more aggressive from the outside. A lock up takes the two to the corner, with Allyana's back to the turnbuckle. A clean break by Angelina. The situation repeats itself, with Allyana again finding her back to a neutral turnbuckle. Again, Angelina offers a clean break; only this time, Priscilla Price, from the outside apron, rushes over and clocks Allyana with a forearm to the back of the head. Angelina and Priscilla begin to argue about Priscilla's interference. As they argue, Allyana regroups and almost steals a pin from Angelina with a quick scoop up, which gets her a two count!
3:48 Allyana and Anya are totally in sync, using quick tags and teamwork to keep the pressure on Angelina. In one stellar move that resulted in the nearest of near falls, Allyyana came off the top with a drop kick to Angelina, which sent her flying back toward the neutral turnbuckle, where Anya was standing and meets Angelina with a flying dropkick of her own.
5:40 Angelina has managed to make a blind take while in the ring with Anya that Angelina and Priscilla are able to capitalize on. As Anya does not see Priscilla tagged in, it allows Priscilla to tag her in the back of the head with a home wrecker super kick, that nearly secures a pin, but for a kickout at the last second. From there it's all six second illegal chokes that are pushing the limits of Chris Clemons's patience.
Priscilla pulls Anya up and runs her eyes against the top rope, and Clemons, along with Angelina, give her a strict reprimand.
8:01 Anya and Angelina are legal, and they've managed to exchange finishes, Anya connecting with a Sundown Flying Headlock Back Breaker, and Angelina hitting a Divine INtervention spinning backbreaker. Their respective finishers have taken their tolls on both wrestlers, and a double clothesline leaves both flat on their backs in the center of the ring as Chris Clemons begins to count both fighters out of the fighter. At seven, both are crawling to their respective corners. Priscilla is tagged in first, but is not able to stop Anya from making the tag in time and Allyana bounces into the ring all fired up and unloads on Priscilla.
Final Moments: Chris Clemons goes down when he is unintentionally knocked into Allyana Rivera. As Allyana works her way to her feet, Priscilla rolls out of the ring and returns with a steel chair. She is about to rattle Allyana with it, but Angelina steps in and grabs hold of the chair. Angelina and Priscilla are going back and forth about Priscilla's use of the chair, engaged int a tug a war. Angelina lets go, Priscilla falls backwards into a scoop up by Allyana for a ONE! TWO! THREE!
WINNERS - Allyana Rivera and Anya Leigh Castello, via pinfall, 10:10
Ian Wright: Right now, Marty Sunshine must be livid. He is without representation in the Empire Tournament, he has a single wrestler remaining in the Pure Tournament, and coming into tonight, he had three out of four teams in the Tag Team Tournament. A win in this match would have sealed that the tag team champions were from his camp. Now, with Marty having effectively booted the Shaws from his camp, coupled with the loss of Price and Bellini, he is in danger of being shut out of that tournament as well.
Jack Cameron: I'm not too sure that is going to happen though, Mr. Wright. Mr. Sunshine has surely stacked the deck against the Shaws in this match. I mean, their bread and butter has been their submission game, and now, thanks to Mr. Sunshine's edict earlier tonight, that is not even an option for the,.
Ian Wright: Well, we are about to find that out right now as we head into the second of the tag team semifinal matches to see who will be facing Castello and Rivera. We bring you Lora and Warren Shaw against Jack Owyns and Vladimir Vishnevsky.
From the Bell: Chris Clemons is calling the action. Lora and Jack start the action, and they begin trading blows from the outset. Lora is getting the best of the exchange and the fans are behind the Shaws. An eye poke by Jack stops her in her tracks, and a boot to the head completely derails her. Jack mounts Lora Shaw and begins to stangle Her. Clemons begins a five count and Jack is arguing with him as his hands remain around her next. Lora grabs hold of Jack's wrist, throws her legs in the air, and catches Jack in an arm bar. Jack is reeling in pain, but given the "no submission" stipulations of this one, Clemons intervenes and forces a break of the hold.
4:01 Warren Shaw and Vladimir Vishnevsky are now the legal ones in the ring, and Vlad is in control, having taken the advantage with an overhead suplex, which he followed up with a kick heavy game plan. A Pele kick echoes through the arena bringing heavy gasps from the crowed. Vlad tags in Jack, who gets down on one knee (his good knee upward), and Vlad suplexes Jack onto his knee. Jack makes a cover for ONE! TWO! KICKOUT by Warren Shaw.
7:55 Jack's been in control of Warren for the last couple minutes with a suplex heavy attack. Warren has spent the better part of these last couple minutes trying to make the tag, and Jack is having fun at Warren's expense, letting him get close-- but not close enough-- to Lora for a tag, only to pull him back to the center and taunt him. Jack secures a near pinfall with a vicious flying Muay Thai knee.
Final Moments Following a desperation tag, Lora Shaw enters the ring alive and fresh, taking out Jack and Vlad, shot after shot. A solid overhand right sends Jack over the top ropes. However, Vlad is standing behind her, waiting for her to turn around. As she turns around, Vlad unleashes a powerful roundhouse kick-- but Lora catches it and drops down into an ankle lock in the dead center of the ring. Vlad is screaming in pan. Chris Clemons beings a count, but Lora refuses to release the hold-- long after the five seconds. Clemons calls for the bell.
WINNER - JACK OWYNS AND VLADIMIR VISHNEVSKY, via disqualification at 10:12
After the Bell: Marty runs down to the ring and checks on Vladimir, who is having a hard time getting up. Marty turns his attention to the Shaws, screaming at them, telling them they are fired, and that their career in show business is over. Marty turns his back to them, and Lora grabs him from behind in a rear naked choke. Marty struggles to break free, but soon passes out on his feet, Lora lets his body drop to the canvas, and then exit the ring.
As paramedics run down to revive Marty, we cut down to Ian and Jack.
Ian: Listen to this place. I have never heard such a loud cheer over the rendering unconscious of another man, but I cannot say it is not warranted. Well now folks, we have the co-main event of the night, and what a match this one will be. In one corner, the Swedish submission specialist; in the other, the magician who moves at a manic speed. It's time for our second Pure Title Semifinal match-up, Lava versus Morgan Le Faye.

CUT TO:
WILL LEVON V. AURA WILLIAMS
PRISCILLA PRICE & ANGELINA BELLINI V. ALLYANA RIVER & ANYA-LEIGH CASTELLO
LORA & WARREN SHAW V. VLADIMIR VISHNEVSKY & JACK OWYNS
LAVA V. MORGAN LE FAYE
From the Bell: The fans are on their feet and as loud as we have ever heard them. Lava and Morgan just stare at each other. Cautiously they lock up. Lava pushes forward, looking for a way to take this fight to the ground. She uses a duck under to slip behind Morgan, and attempts to lift her for a takedown, but Morgan hits a switch, and now slips behind Lava. Instead of trying to life her, Morgan takes to the ropes, bounces back, ducks a clothesline from Lava and comes back with a flying head scissors that flips Lava to the ground. Lava pops up quick, but is arm dragged to the ground again. This time, Lava is intentionally slow in getting up, electing to slow down the momentum of the fight.
2:30 As the two meet in the center of the ring again, rather than engage in another tie up, the fight turns into a boxing contest. Morgan ducks a series of combos from Lava, but ultimately Lava rocks Morgan with a right cross that has the magician staggered and back peddling. Smelling blood, Lava moves in quickly, shooting in for a double leg take down to take this fight to the ground, but as she comes in, Morgan meets her with a knee to the face that lands flush and lays Lava out on her back. Morgan takes to the ropes, hopes to the second, and catapults off for a moonsault, but Lava gets her knees up, and then scoops Morgan up with an inside cradle for a cover of ONE! TWO! KICKOUT by Morgan. Before Lava can take advantage of the offense, Morgan rolls to the outside for a moment to regroup.
4:02 Morgan's on the outside, trying to collect herself, but Lava chases her out, not willing to accept another count out decision. The two begin to exchange on the outside. Morgan ducks a spinning back first by Lava that allows her to get in close to Lava, and she belly to belly suplexes Lava to the concrete floor. Morgan rolls in and out to break up the count, and when she gets back out, she pulls up Lava, and floors her with a spinning heel kick. Morgan hops to the apron, and then goes to the top turnbuckle, diving off with a 360 splash to Lava on the outside floor that garners a "HOLY SHIT!" chant from the crowd.
7:22 The action has now returned to the ring, courtesy of a suplex from Morgan that takes Lava from the outside apron to the inside. With Lava on her back, Morgan points to the top turnbuckle. She ascends to the the top as Lava works her way to her feet. Morgan jumps off for a high cross body block and connects, but the momentum is enough to cause Lava to roll onto Morgan for a cover of ONE! TWO! Kickout by Morgan. Once again, Morgan rolls to the outside to regroup, but this time, Lava reaches over the top, gets a handful of hair, and pulls her up the the apron. Lava suplexes Morgan into the ring, but Morgan falls behind her and runs her into the ropes for a roll-up and a count of ONE! TWO! Kickout by Lava! Morgan is the first to her feet and takes to the ropes. Lava meets her with a hip toss attempt, but Morgan blocks, and converts into a backslide for a cover one ONE! TWO! Kickout by Lava!
9:01 The last few minutes have seen a variety of near falls from both fighters. Morgan has thus far done a good job of keeping away from Lava's submissions, and using her movement to keep Lava guessing. At this moment, Morgan has taken to the ropes yet again, but this time Lava absolutely levels her with a flying knee. Lava goes for a cover and gets a count of ONE! TWO! TH-- Kickout by Morgan and Lava cannot believe it. Lava pulls Morgan to her feet, grabs a front face lock, and falls back, taking Morgan in full guard while maintaining a very tight guillotine choke. Morgan looks like she is fading. Her face is turning purple as she struggles to find air. Lava is wrenching the hold and this one appears to be over soon. However, with Morgan on top of Lava and Lava's back to the canvas, the ref is making a count on Lava that forces her to release the hold to avoid being pinned.
10:05 Lava is on her feet, arguing with the ref over the prospect of him trying to count a pinfall on her while she was applying a submission hold. Realizing that she is not going to be able to plead her case, she moves in toward Morgan, who is on her hands and knees. Morgan meets her with a punch to the stomach, followed by a second, both of which have Lava doubled over. With Lava hunched over, Morgan scoops her up for an inside cradle and a cover one ONE! TWO! KICKOUT by Lava.
12:00 Both fighters are exhausted from fighting at such a high pace. Each is in an opposite corner pulling herself up. Lava gets to her feet first, spots Morgan still pulling herself up in the far corner, and charges at her for another flying knee, but Morgan back body drops Lava over the top to the outside floor. Morgan sprints against the opposite ropes, springs back, and does a suicide dive through the second and third rope, but misses as Lava is able to get out of the way in time.
15:39 Both fighters are back on the ring, each taking sudden bursts of offense with sudden momentum shifts. Lava is working hard for a takedown, and has s single leg as Morgan balances on one leg. Morgan jumps in the air and delivers a back brain kick to Lava that looks to put her lights out. Morgan takes to the top, waits for Lava to get to her feet, and then jumps off for a Molly-Go-Round which she connects with a makes a cover of ONE! TWO! TH--No, Lava gets a foot on the ropes.
Final Moments: Morgan is taking it to Lava. Following a missile dropkick from the top, Morgan pulls Lava up, and throws her head between her legs. Morgan pulls Lava up for a pile driver, but while upside down, Lava locks her legs around Morgans head, and syncs it in tight. Morgan is trying to fight it, but the oxygen cuts off and she falls to the floor, with Lava holding the triangle choke. Morgan is forced to tap.
WINNER - Lava, via submission, at 19:42
After the match: Lava releases the hold, exhausted, and rolls over toward Morgan to congratulate her on a hell of a fight. They help each other up and both raise each other's hands to an ovation from the crowd.
Ian Wright: That was classic! Hands down the best fight we have seen in Metro:PRO, and our main event is still to come. It's time for the final Empire Title Semi-Final match between Grace Taylor and Weston Alexander.
Jack Cameron: Something is bothering me, Mr. Wright. I cannot help but think back to the words of Mr. Sunshine at the start of our show. He seemed pretty adamant that Grace Taylor not walk out of here a victory tonight. The thought of her holding his title is something that is just too much for him to bear, and after the disappointments he has encountered tonight...well, I just have a bad feeling about this.
Ian Wright: And it sure doesn't help matters that he has assigned referee Milton White to oversee the action tonight. But here we our, it is time for our main event of the evening.
From the Bell: The two tie up. A hip toss from Weston. He moves in. An upkick from Grace knocks Weston back, allowing Grace to get to her feet. Weston moves in. Another tie up. An arm ringer from Grace. Weston reverses, but Grace rolls through, pops to her feet, and its a quick monkey flip that sends Weston to his back. Both fighters get to their feet and its an arm drag takedown from Grace that gives her the advantage.
2:50 So far, it's been an evenly contested matchup. Grace is using her superior striking to keep Weston at a distance, and is taking advantage of Weston's less than stellar take down defense to put Weston on the ground with text book take downs; but Grace does not follow Weston to the ground.
4:13 Almost a quick finish as Grace shoots in for a double leg takedown and runs into a standing guillotine from Weston. Before the oxygen cuts off, Grace manages to lift Weston and fall backwards, draping his neck on the top rope in a hot shot fashion. Grace gets to her feet first, but is using the opportunity to catch her breath following her near choke finish. Here comes Weston, moving in slowly but methodically, but Grace keeps him in check with a side kick to the stomach. Grace takes to the ropes and bounces back with a running bulldog, and she goes for a cover of ONE! TWO! KICKOUT by Weston.
6:57 Weston takes the offense with his superior technique, hitting a double arrmbar suplex and scoring a near fall off of a follow up neckbreaker. Weston seeks out a an arm triangle, but as he applies it Grace gets her feet on the ropes. Referee Milton White doesn't see it, but Weston does and releases the hold. He begins to lecture White on being more attentive, insisting that he wants to win this one fair and square. Weston grabs hold of Grace by the legs and pulls her to the center of the ring. As he does, she reaches up, scoops his head, and rolls Weston into a small package for a ONE! TWO! KICKOUT by Weston!
9:28 Grace has take control of this fight at this point, and she is laying the offense on heavily, connecting with a flying forearm off the ropes, followed by a hurricanranna which, had it been any other ref, might have been enough for a pinfall.
Final Moments: A total shit show. Weston whips Grace into the ropes, but Grace reverses and Weston comes head to head with referee Milton White, and both are down. Almost on sync, Marty Sunshine, Jack Owyns and Vladimir Vishnevsky run down to ringside. They roll into the ring and put a beat down on Grace, who does her best to fend off her adversaries. Mort Goodman and Carter Hayes run down to the ring, slide in, and a melee ensues. Weston comes through and sees Vladimir pouncing on Grace. He is pissed off that, in his mind, Vlad has interfered on his behalf, and takes Vlad down, slapping on a knee bar.
There is an all out brawl with everyone in the ring involved.
Finally, over the sound system, we hear a voice-- an unfamiliar voice-- scream ENOUGH!
The action stops. All look up.
Heading toward the ring is a gentleman in a suit, who, with mic in hand, enters the ring. Everyone is looking at him with confusion.
Gentleman: That's it. I have seen enough!
Marty: Who the hell are you?
Gentleman: I am Brad Preseley of the New York State Athletic Commission. I have received numerous complaints from numerous sources concerning the way matches have been conducted here. I reviewed the footage from last week, and I have to say I wouldn't have believed what I was watching on video had I not come to inspect for myself in person. Poor officiating, changing stipulations at the last minute, outside interference. What kind of a show are you running here?
Marty: I can--
Gentleman: Don't answer that-- I'll answer it for you. Since you two idiots cannot seem to put your personal vendetta asides to put on a respectable, corruption free sporting event, on behalf of the New York State Athletic Commission, I hereby revoke your license to promote sporting events in the State of New York.
Marty: But --- But--
Gentleman: You may reapply after a period of six months. Good day, gentleman.
The Athletic Commission representative turns to the crowd.
Gentleman: Sorry folks, the show is over. There is nothing more to see here.
Boos overtake the arena. Jack shrugs and exits the ring. Vladimir is still on the ground from Weston's knee bar.
Mort looks to Marty. Mort clocks Marty, sending him to the floor in a bloody mess. Mort leans over Marty.
Mort: Nice going, asshole.
FADE TO BLACK
