ADVERSARIES
Wrestler: Vladimir VIshnevsky
Reasons: I know this man. I've done time with this man. He's a sociopath with a hot temper. He tried his best to provoke me in the joint, wanting to prove something-- like he was personally offended that a professional fighter in the pen with him was taking something away from his notoriety. But I had my eyes fixed on freedom, and kept my head down and nose clean. On the day of my release, he told me that soon he would follow, and would ultimately have our exchange.
I can't wait to knock this guy on his ass.

BIOGRAPHY
Damian Cole was born May 26, 1983 in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania to Keith and Laurie Cole. Damian is the middle child of three children. Damian grew up in the rural Pennsylvania wrestling town, and Damian placed in the Pennsylvania States as a freshman. Damian's father was transferred to Jersey City, New Jersey in his sophomore year of high school, and he attended Jersey City High School, where he won a New Jersey State title at 112 pounds. It was during his sophomore year in high school that Damian Cole first wrestled Carter Hayes in a dual meet, in which Damian bumped up a weight class to 119 to meet Carter. It was a physical match, with neither competitor budging, and which saw Carter Hayes take the victory 1-0. In his junior year, Damian's father was transferred once again, this time to South Jersey, and Damian wrestled for Paulsboro High School in his junior and senior years, winning state titles-- including his infamous, controversial victory over Carter Hayes in his senior year.
Out of high school, Damian wrestled for Iowa State, and was redshirted for the first year. In his first year wrestling for the program, he was designated an All-American. During the season, Damian discovered that his high school sweetheart, Julia, had become pregnant, and Damian had to drop out of college at Iowa State to be with her. Damian returned home to New Jersey, and attended Glassboro College while teaching at Edge Wrestling School and coaching at Paulsoboro High School to make money to provide for his new family. Damian and Julia were married on July 17, 2004, Damian's first child, Faith, was born September 1, 2004. Two years later, on August 25, 2006, his second child, Max was born.
For the next few years, Damian spent as much time with his family as he could, and become more and more involved in coaching and teaching wrestling, and in studying BJJ.
In was shortly thereafter that Damian was approached by his former high school wrestling coach, Marty Sunshine, about the prospect of wrestling professionally. Ever the talker, Marty was able to convince Damian that it was a means to sufficiently provide for his family; and also a way to regain the love of the sport that he missed out on when he had to cut his college career short to care for his family. The plan made sense to Damian, and by early 2010, Damian Cole was signed with the now-defunct Greater Metropolitan Wrestling, where he steamrolled through the competition. His style was not flash; there were no high risk maneuvers. Rather, Damian relied upon his solid amateur wrestling base and recently acquired BJJ skills to grind his opponents.
Shortly after Damian's career started building a momentum, the business, along with outside influences, started to go to Damian's head. There were several contributing factors for Damian's ultimate fall from grace. The first was his manager, Marty Sunshine, who was-- and continues to remain-- a bad influence on Damian. Marty was a heavy parties, and loved the attention that managing the East Coast's hottest prospect brought-- the drugs, the booze, the women. They were on the road often, and Marty would just throw money at a good time, and cover the cost of any damage that was caused from their good time. Damian started feeling untouchable.
Meanwhile, because they were on the road so often, the physical distance between Damian and his family started translating into an emotional distance. Julia, Damian's wife, begged Damian to slow down, to spend more time at home. Damian justified his continued involvement as a means to provide support. They began to argue often-- to the point that the little time he was home was spent in argument-- which only served as incentive for Damian to be on the road as much as he could.
And then there was his relationship with Priscilla Price.
Priscilla Price Relationship
At the start of Damian's professional career, Marty Sunshine had the idea that Damian should have a valet to accompany him to the ring. He had several reasons, and each of them were nefarious, but the end result was that Damian Cole would be accompanied to the ring by a 20 year old woman named Priscilla Price. She was sexy, dangerous, and charismatic-- a shy, demure wallflower one moment, and then a wiry dangerous vixen the next. Many within the organization speculated whether she was on drugs-- this was before the "Metropolitan Mistress" scandal broke and Priscilla Price became a household name. It was later revealed that the likely explanation for her drastic change in behavior was not that she was on drugs, but that she was not taking the medication prescribed to her.
In any event, what started out as nothing more than a business relationship (she was there to create the perception of something more with Damian, as a means of distraction for his opponents), quickly developed into something intimate-- first emotionally, then physically. Damian was away from his wife and kids, living a drug and alcohol induced lifestyle, and on the road with this beautiful woman who seemed to admire his every word and action. They were able to keep their affair a secret to the public, but despite her husband's denial, Julia Cole had her immediate suspicions when the scandal broke. It was not until years later, when Priscilla Price released her autobiography "Memoirs of a Metropolitan Mistress"-- while Damian was in jail-- that Julia's suspicions were confirmed, which let her to file for divorce.
Damian's Arrest and Incarceration
In late 2011, Damian Cole defeated "Mr. Flawless" C.J. Infallible to earn a bid at the Greater Metropolitan Wrestling tri-state title. That night, after a night of heavy partying with Marty Sunshine and Priscilla Price at Club 54 in New York City, Marty Sunshine and Damian Cole were found by police inside of Marty's car, which had crashed into a telephone pole. According the official story, Damian was driving and Marty was in the passenger seat, and Damian had enough drugs-- cocaine and steroids-- to put him away for possession with intention to distribute. The story that receives the most attention, however, is that it was Marty who was driving, and who the drugs belonged to, but that Damian had taken the fall on his behalf, to save his longtime friend's license to practice law.
Damian was sentenced to three years in a state penitentiary, although he did have time shaved off for good behavior. During his stay, upon the release of "Memoirs of a Metropolitan Mistress," Damian's wife Julia filed for divorce, custody and child support. Hitting rock bottom, it is said that Damian found Christianity, and surrendered himself to Christ. Damian found him spending all of his time reading and working out. Inmates indicated that he talked about his wife and children incessantly and his plan to turn his life around and win them back.
Damian was released in May 2014, and immediately got in contact with his old manager, Marty Sunshine, Esq. Some have questioned why a man looking to turn his life around would return to the root of his problem, but those most familiar with the story knew that Marty Sunshine, as much of a weasel as he was, was the only person with the connections to get Damian on track. He had been ostracized from many of the other organizations, and with his mounting child support and alimony arrears, Damian did not have the luxury of time to try to wade the ins and outs of the backdoor negotiations that the business called for.
