INT. METROPOLITAN FITNESS - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2014 (EVENING)
We open up inside of the gym of IWA competitor PRISCILLA PRICE. We find Priscilla in the ring, mounting her sparring partner, reigning down shot after shot. Her sparring partner, from the bottom position, tries to push Priscilla off her her, but in the process, exposes his arm. Priscilla grabs hold of it, sits out, and transitions into a slick arm bar.
Her sparring partner immediately taps. Priscilla lets go, and pops to her feet. She catches her breath, letting out a sigh in the process.
Suddenly, we hear an announcement over the intercom.
Priscilla grabs her water bottle from the bench in the corner of the ring, and exits the ring. She makes her way over to the front desk where IWA World Champion number one contender DAMIAN COLE is waiting for her, jeans, gray hooded sweat shirt. He is looking hung over, and somewhat apprehensive.
Priscilla smiles as she sees Damian.
She extends her arms as if to give him a hug, but Damian keeps her at bay. Instead, he extends a hand for a handshake.
Priscilla turns to the receptionist.
Priscilla leads Damian through the gym, toward the lockers. She has a casual in-control air about her.
Damian doesn't say anything.
Priscilla disappears into the locker room. After a moment, she pops her head back out.
Priscilla again disappears into the woman's locker room.
Damian stands out side contemplating. He shakes his head.
Begrudgingly, Damian enters the locker room.
CUT TO:
INT. METROPOLITAN FITNESS - WOMAN'S LOCKER ROOM - CONTINUOUS
By the time Damian enters the locker room, Priscilla is already nude, but for a large white towel covering her and sandals. Damian diverts his eyes, which makes Priscilla roll her eyes.
Priscilla disappears into the shower area, and enters one of the curtained shower stalls. Damian follows, but stops just sort of the shower area.
Damian doesn't respond. The sound of the water stops.
Priscilla reaches out and pulls a long hair off of Damian's sweat shirt, and then turns to make her way to her locker, where she disappears off camera. Again Damian follows just close enough to remain in earshot of Priscilla, again diverting his attention away from the Metropolitan Mistress.
We hear Priscilla chuckle.
Priscilla emerges from the locker area, wearing a low cut lace black bra and jeans. She is holding a read sweater. She moves within feet of Damian, who is looking away.
Damian is clearly uncomfortable standing this close to Priscilla-- particularly a shirtless Priscilla. She sees it.
Priscilla puts on the sweater. Damian returns his eyes to her.
Priscilla leaves Damian and makes her way toward the sinks, where her cosmetic bag is waiting for her on the vanity. She takes the blow dryer, plugged into the way by the vanity, and begins to blow out her hair.
Damian studies Priscilla, trying to read her-- a fruitless endeavor.
The words "finish what you started" catch Damian off guard and he becomes uneasy with the implications.
This is not what Damian was expected-- but one the idea kicks in, while not as bad as he was expecting, strikes him as equally absurd.
Priscilla puts down the hair dryer, and begins brushing through and teasing her hair.
Damian's nervous again.
Priscilla doesn't say anything, but Damian works through the answer to his own question himself.
Damian studies Priscilla again.
A silence fills the locker room.

VOICE
(over the intercom)
Priscilla, please come to the front
desk. Damian Cole is here to see you.
desk. Damian Cole is here to see you.
PRISCILLA
Finally, the cavalry arrives.
Priscilla smiles as she sees Damian.
PRISCILLA
Hey gorgeous, I'm so
happy you made it over.
happy you made it over.
She extends her arms as if to give him a hug, but Damian keeps her at bay. Instead, he extends a hand for a handshake.
PRISCILLA
Really? You're gonna
pick now to be formal?
DAMIAN
We need to talk.
PRISCILLA
Sure thing, let's talk. But
you're gonna have to walk
with me. I'm running late.
Priscilla leads Damian through the gym, toward the lockers. She has a casual in-control air about her.
PRISCILLA
So, how are you feeling
today? A bit hung over, I bet.
today? A bit hung over, I bet.
DAMIAN
I've been better.
PRISCILLA
You've also been worse.
Remember that time in Phili--
Remember that time in Phili--
The two come to the entrance for the woman's locker room. Damian stops.
DAMIAN
Priscilla, what happened last night?
PRISCILLA
You really don't remember?
PRISCILLA
You really know how to flatter
a girl, don't you? Wait here.
a girl, don't you? Wait here.
PRISCILLA
You coming in or not?
DAMIAN
I don't think that's a good idea.
PRISCILLA
D.C., we're past business
hours, there's nobody in there.
hours, there's nobody in there.
DAMIAN
That's what I'm worried about.
PRISCILLA
Well, suit yourself, but like
I said, I'm running late, so...
I said, I'm running late, so...
Damian stands out side contemplating. He shakes his head.
DAMIAN
Shit.

By the time Damian enters the locker room, Priscilla is already nude, but for a large white towel covering her and sandals. Damian diverts his eyes, which makes Priscilla roll her eyes.
PRISCILLA
You are too funny, Damian.
PRISCILLA (off screen)
So it was pretty nice getting to
spend some time with you last night,
after so long. Don't you think?

DAMIAN
Priscilla, I don't know what happened last--
PRISCILLA (off screen)
I know, I heard you the first time-- you
don't remember. That's a shame. It was just
like old times, you know? You were a mess,
but you were fun-- so relaxed. You gotta
let loose like that a little more, D.C.

PRISCILLA (off screen)
Maybe next time we get together, you
can stay a little more sober though.

DAMIAN
Priscilla, last night was a mistake,
and there's not going to be a next time.
and there's not going to be a next time.
Priscilla reemerges from the shower area, wrapped in a while robe, her hair held together with a towel. She stops when she gets to Damian, and smiles.
PRISCILLA
How do you know last night was
a mistake if you don't remember?
a mistake if you don't remember?
DAMIAN
What were you doing at the bar last
night? Marty said he told you not to come?
night? Marty said he told you not to come?
We hear Priscilla chuckle.
PRISCILLA
D.C., I don't know if you've noticed,
but I'm a grown woman, and I'm capable
of making my own decisions. Besides, I
was part of the team last night, and one
of the Newmans' chose few. Don't I deserve
the right to celebrate our win as well?

PRISCILLA
You were awesome last night, by way. And
no, I'm not talking about back at the
hotel room-- I'm talking about in the
ring. Christian and Faith-- they are so
amazing, and they were right. You got to
shine-- me you and Travis-- we all shined,
and the Newmans took notice. Christian
and Faith, what they did was so sacrificial.

Priscilla puts on the sweater. Damian returns his eyes to her.
PRISCILLA
Nothing happened, Damian.
DAMIAN
What?
PRISCILLA
You and I, at the hotel
last night, nothing happened.
last night, nothing happened.
PRISCILLA
Oh, don't think I did't try, or at least
consider it. But you were too far gone--
mumbling about your ex-wife and kids,
barely coherent-- and then you passed out.

Damian studies Priscilla, trying to read her-- a fruitless endeavor.
PRISCILLA
You don't believe me? Wow, that's ironic.
It's usually the other way around-- I tell
people I've slept with someone and they don't
believe me. D.C., why would I lie about this?

DAMIAN
I don't know. I'm trying to figure that
out. It doesn't make sense-- not coming
from you. Why tell me? I mean, even if
nothing happened, I'd expect you to--
out. It doesn't make sense-- not coming

PRISCILLA
To what? To lead you to believe that we
did? You know, I considered that, but
then I thought, what's the point? I don't
hate you Damian, and I don't want to see you
miserable-- despite what you might think,
I'm not a bad person. Deep down you know that.

DAMIAN
So what is it that you want from me?
PRISCILLA
I want you to finish what you started.
PRISCILLA
I want you to be my training partner.
DAMIAN
What? You've gotta be kidding me?
PRISCILLA
Look, you and I are not gonna be together--
I get that, okay? But last night, when Athena
Redding came out and announced that she was
selling the company, I thought that was it--
I thought I was out of a job. In a company
where the women are dominating the title
scene, I don't have a title, I've lost a few
I'm easily overlooked. I need your help.

DAMIAN
You've gotta be out of your
mind? Why me? There's a roster
full of talent that can train you.

PRISCILLA
Like who? The women all want to
kill me, and they guys all want to
fuck me. I know you, D.C. I trust you.
Besides, this goes beyond just training.

DAMIAN
What does that mean?
PRISCILLA
The moment the announcement about the Newmans
came out, Marty had Lenny do his due diligence.
This family, talent is important to them-- but
so is reputation. You carry yourself very well--
everyone likes you. You've got a great reputation.

DAMIAN
You're more popular than I am, believe me.
PRISCILLA
What I have is notoriety-- big difference.
DAMIAN
And why would I help you?
DAMIAN
Because if I don't, whether anything
happened or not, I still spent the
night in your hotel room. Of course.
happened or not, I still spent the
night in your hotel room. Of course.
PRISCILLA
I did not say that. Look, this is good for
you as well. I've got a skill set in that
ring; and I know you weren't here in the
beginning, but I tearing through this
roster until... well, until your opponent
in two weeks-- who, by the way, I came
pretty damn close to beating, so consider
that. I'm not that green ring valet from
back in 2010. And if you're nervous about
this, or how it will be perceived, we can
have Marty present for the sessions-- it's about
time he started earning his commissions anyway.

PRISCILLA
Damian, you gave me the passion for the
sport. That's what I want back-- not you,
but that passion. And there is nobody on
this roster as passionate for this sport
as you-- not a single one. And that's the
reason I fell for you, and fell for this
sport. And if I can't have you, then I want

PRISCILLA
Damian, if that's what I wanted,
I could have done that last night.
