The scene opens to reveal Allyana; she seems back to her usual self after her sickness at the weekend. She sits casually at the table of her hotel room with the laptop open in front of her. Suddenly Allyana’s phone vibrates. She looks to it, chuckles to herself and texts back. She then directs her attention back to the camera.
“With last week behind us, Anya and I now find ourselves in the semi-final of the tag team tournament. One of the members of the opposing team is Angelina Bellini. She uses words like trustworthy and respectful to describe herself. I don't like to believe that anyone would lie, so I'm going to go with the assumption that she doesn't know who she is.
I think she must be lacking confidence, I've not seen her win a match yet based on her abilities alone. It's sad, because from what the fitness tests say, she has some great skills. I think I know why though, not only does confidence come from within but it also comes from other people believing in you. I saw the video. I saw her father have so little belief in her talent alone, that he told Marty to 'throw his weight around' to get her the win. Something we saw the evidence of on that first Killshot. How can you believe in yourself when no one else does? It must be really difficult for her.
Then at her match on Sunday she resorted to cheating to get that win. To have such a lack of faith in herself is going to cost her greatly in this match against Anya and I. We fully believe in not only ourselves, but in each other as well."
Once again Allyana smiles to an incoming text and responds before returning her gaze to the camera.
"Angelina isn't exactly an expert when it comes to those sneaky tactics; in fact she's pretty terrible at it. She managed to get away with it on Sunday, but that won't be a regular occurrence. Not only because she’s admitted to using a weapon in her Ask.Me response - meaning everyone will be looking out for it. She's also going to be sharing a ring with me. One of my skills is being able to spot those sorts of tactics. I'll stop her doing something stupid and hopefully she'll learn over time to use her natural ability. Both she and Priscilla are very fast and impressive in the air. Though, both Anya and I edge them in those categories and we'll take full advantage of it.
Speaking of Priscilla, I haven't personally met her. Sure I've heard a lot, but I do like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I've spent a lot of time looking into her past matches and I've come to the conclusion that our outlooks are miles apart. That's okay, everyone's different. What I have learned is she's a great fan of cheating as well trying to use outside interference to win her matches. I'm not too worried though, my ability to read my opponent is just about as good as her talent for the underhanded tactics. I also have impeccable focus - an area Anya is very strong too. We're not easily distracted and we're not easily thrown off our game.
I've also learned Priscilla isn't a trustworthy person; though I’m sure she has her reasons. With Angelina's naivety - which she admits to - she'll trust Priscilla. Despite Priscilla’s actions on Killshot #1, Angelina still chooses to team with her. The Metropolitan Mistress always looks out for herself first and foremost; it's why she's had a lot of success, there's no doubting that. It just means that whenever she sees Angelina as a hindrance, she will be dropped, giving yet another fatal blow to her confidence. I think Angelina's honest approach about cheating will contradict Priscilla's of ‘deny at all costs’. The last I saw, Priscilla is ignoring Angelina's phone calls. Those are not the actions of a strong team. There have been a couple of times now I’ve seen Angelina reaching out to Priscilla on the timelines, struggling to contact her. I feel bad for Angelina, she really wants to make it work. I guess that's where I'm fortunate; Anya and I speak all the time."
Her phone buzzes once again. Allyana smiles and holds her phone to the camera.
“In fact, we’re speaking now! If they can’t communicate outside of the ring, then they’re really going to struggle in the ring. Right now I'm off to train with Anya; it’s one of many things you can arrange if you speak to your partner.”
Allyana smiles and shuts off the camera.
