The scene fades in to see a large and fully decorated Christmas tree standing in the corner of the room, complete with a star on top. The lights flash intermittently as a soft monophonic tune plays. As the view zooms out slightly, presents can be seen wrapped under the tree as well as a person sitting in an ornately decorated chair beside them. The person is "The Intellectual" Weston Alexander. He is wearing a red and white Santa hat. He smiles at the camera.
Weston: Welcome everyone. While you may have been expecting more of the twelve days of Christmas, I decided that I need only provide Grace with as many days as she's provided to Metro:PRO thus far: one. With the spirit of Christmas still in mind, however, I felt that I should provide "The Prodigy" with a few gifts as a token of my respect for her, what she's been able to accomplish, and as a show of good will toward her father and my pure wrestling-loving superior Mort Goodman Esq., Grace's father. I wrapped all of these gifts myself and, while this is only the 1st of December, I just couldn't wait for Grace to see what I have for her! I'm certain that she'll be just as excited to see what she's getting this year from one of her newest teammates. Without further ado, I give you 'Gifts for Grace' by Weston Alexander.
Weston reaches out and grasps a small, rectangular-shaped gift, wrapped in a kelly green with a bright red bow adorned at the meeting of two ribbons of the same color. Weston removes the bow and ribbons followed by the wrapping paper. He holds the gift up to the camera, a book entitled...
Weston: Submission Defense for Dummies! Now, to clarify, I know that you're no dummy, Grace. How else would you have been IWA World Champion for 49 days? One more week and you would've doubled the second longest reign of Travis Black's 28. However, your submission defense is clearly lacking and I don't want you to show up at Killshot unprepared. While your offensive submission game is satisfactory against most opponents, I want you to be prepared for any opponent that boasts an impressive submission arsenal, specifically me in this case. My victory last week was tarnished. This is the main event and a chance to move on to the finals of the Empire Wrestling Championship tournament. I want you to have every advantage you can get to make this victory much more satisfying.
Weston reaches back down, this time producing a small box from under the tree. After a few pulls and rips, the box slides out from the paper.
Weston: This gift is more of a favor I wanted to do for you. I took a moment of my time to listen to the song that plays when you approach the ring and... Well... I'm sorry to say that I don't 'get off on you.' You are a beautiful girl, Grace, but your beauty is more typical and normal. You are generically beautiful while I prefer a more... Exotic... look. However, I'm not used to leaving a woman disappointed. With that in mind, I would like to give you this Ex.T.Cee cream from Pure Romance. I'm told it's incredibly effective though I've not used it on a female myself. I've never needed to. It's strawberry flavored so hopefully Carter... or Erik... or both... like strawberries. Speaking of Erik Valdez...
Weston grabs another rectangular-shaped gift and unwraps it revealing a picture of Grace and Erik posing for a camera following one of their training sessions.
Weston: I know that you enjoyed training with Erik in Spain and that he helped you improve upon your submissions. I thought that this picture of the two of you would help commemorate the time you spent together. As you can see, these ornate carvings along the frame should be perfect to place on a mantle in your residence somewhere. The wood is oak and the frame is one piece, not several assembled pieces, so it is definitely durable enough to withstand any potential damage. I'm sure you're wondering how I came across such a lovely picture and I must say, it was difficult. However, speaking with some people who knew some people who had some people - you know how that goes - I was able to acquire a high resolution photo of the two of you and get it blown up a bit to fit in this magnificient frame.
Weston looks away from the camera for a moment and nods in acknowledgement.
Weston: That's all the time we have for today! Join us next time when we unwrap the rest of Grace's gifts!
Weston waves as the camera fades.
