There is something to be said about facts and opinions. The big difference of course is that fact can be proven, backed up with logic. You can't deny a fact. Opinion on the other hand... well unfortunately if alls right into the same category as hearsay
I could easily say I'm the best wrestler. I could easily say I hold the record for the most amount of bubbles blown at a county fair too but without any fact to back up these opinions, they don't hold all that much water. Your boat is full of holes and you're just staying afloat by continuously bailing but eventually, you're going to tire and that ship is going to sink. Tire like Kaiden's stamina.
You want to peg me as a bad guy, that's your prerogative. The term, 'guilty by association' IN MY OPINION is a cop-out to justify your need to be unnecessarily nasty. Well alright, you can play that way if you wish but if you let your personal emotions come into play in this match, then it's going to hinder you far more than it will benefit.
You compare yourself to an underdog princess. The one that worked and slaved for family that didn't love her. Last I checked my dear, we are not related and you have never worked for me. Further to that, in order for me to be the evil stepsister; I'd have to want something you have and in jealously try to ruin it for you. Again, NO.
See... there are those holes in your boat.
You want to down play the fact that I outclass you in a few areas and say it's all just paper but my dear, you forget that only the very best trainers have been hired to assess our skills. To say that I'm only better on paper to me is just a lazy argument.
I have been blessed to be given a tag partner that has not only the speed and aerial game to compliment my own but also something I don't possess, a submission game that could easily make either Alice or Kaiden tap out. You can say what you want about Priscilla. I don't condone her actions but let me say this... if your relationship is as secure as you claim... than her actions and words shouldn't shake you at all. Clearly they have. That puts us at an advantage because I am not in any way emotionally tied to this match. If I lose, yes I lose a chance at titles but I will always have another opportunity. If your relationship fails... usually that's the end of the line is it not?
Kaiden keeps alluding to this idea that 'he's sorry for what he has to do' and that 'this is why I hate your partner' as if this is going to somehow break me. I'm not stupid. I can see the game here. I may worry about Priscilla's actions out of the ring... but inside I do not. We are a stable tag team because we have similar goals. Winning tag championships.
You want to talk about stories while I deal in only the real world. This isn't a case of the princess being denied her crown. This isn't you being oppressed. This is a matter of I'm a wrestler and I am going to 'out wrestle you' for a chance to move on in the tag team tournament. Don't dwell in fantasies dear. Once again... I have to call into play your focus. I don't think you really quite grasp the magnitude of how much this match means.
Look at it this way, I'm not going to deny you got heart and a fighting spirit but neither of those things are going to help you when my superior agility takes you by surprise. Neither of those things will help you when you can't keep up with me because I'm faster. I'm also better able to handle high pressure matches, such as title contention and tournaments.
If you want to live in the magic kingdom with your prince Charming then I wish you nothing but happiness, but I want to live in a land where I am holding tag team gold.
