The scene opens up in an empty auditorium. The lights are dimmed low, with the exception of a spotlight. The spotlight is placed solely on Liz Smalls, who is standing with a microphone in her hands.
Liz Smalls: This is your reality Lora Shaw. Look around, there is NOBODY else in this auditorium, and its an auditorium for a reason. You don't have the star power to fill an arena, and obviously, you don't even have the star power to fill an auditorium. I mean, cmon, have you actually listened to yourself sing? Ever heard the phrase, 'nails on a chalkboard'? I mean, Oh Em Gee!!!
Liz walks around the stage a bit, the spotlight following her.
Liz Smalls: This match is exactly what you wanted though, we both know that. You have this weird, twisted dream that you can use wrestling to propel yourself into entertainment superstardom. You REALLY think you can turn into me. Are you stupider than you look? Lets get one thing straight, okies? Just because we share initials, height, and weight, which I think you're lying about by the way because um, look at you, you're a he-she, but anyway, we're NOTHING alike. Do you see this spotlight that follows me around this auditorium? It follows me because I AM a star, I'm THE star in Metro. The mention of my name alone gets people interested, it has them tuning in each and every week, or streaming live online. The career you so desperately want in entertainment? I had it before I was dominating the wrestling world. You want MY life...kinda sad when you think about it.
Liz makes a fake, sad, pouty face as the camera zooms in on her.
Liz Smalls: I know this match is exactly what you wanted, whats the quickest way to get noticed other than wrestling Liz Smalls? Win or lose, my name is at the tip of everyone's tongue, and that's the kind of promotion you're craving, starving for. Well, I have news for you he-she, you aren't making a name off of me.
The entertainment thing, trust me...it means nothing when we actually step in the ring. You know what DOES matter? Experience. Knowing exactly what can and will happen when you step between those ropes. I have six months more experience than you. I have main event experience, high pressure matches. This might be what you THINK you want, but you don't have the composure to deal with the pressure that comes with facing somebody like me. Every...single...eyeball watching your every move, the pressure alone of living up to the hype that comes with wrestling Liz Smalls is enough to defeat you before you even step in the ring.
How are you going to FOCUS with everything going on around us? The fans comments, the social timelines posts, the pressure of having so many people watching live as our match airs? I've been there, done that. I've performed in arena's all over the world, and came up big every single time. Even in losses, I've opened the world's eyes to what I'm capable of in the ring. I didn't get the nickname 'Coast 2 Coast Covergirl' just because it sounds good, I've literally busted my butt in every big city across the country for 7 months now.
Speaking of...my stamina and endurance has gotten better over the last few months, and according to the Metro training results, I can go longer than you can. Those back to back matches that you like to point out as a weakness? They actually have helped me improve on my in-ring endurance. I've literally had matches back to back where I've had to fly from New York, Coast to Coast to Las Vegas, and wrestle the next day, and guess what? I've won. When you dedicate yourself, and train the right way, you'd be amazed at what you can do.
And experience wise, you can't compare to me, hashtag Liz Fact. My daddy was a wrestler, my brother is a wrestler, its in my blood. Not that you'll see my blood because um, I hate to bleed, but trust me...if you saw my blood it would look like a wrestlers blood! All of the submission training in the world can't make up for lack of experience. You beat Lunar and 8-Ball, ummmm okies? Lunar is gone from Metro now from what I hear, so he wasn't built to survive anyway. And 8-Ball? Was probably too high to want to touch a he-she like you.
Me? I don't care what I have to do, I'm beating you. When the final curtain closes, it'll be ME holding my hands in the air, while you lay on the mat, flat on your back. Sorry...Not Sorry!"
