Last week I lied...
That’s right folks, I lied to you last week when I wrote to you. Or at least, I misled you a little bit when I said that Radek Dayz had done nothing to me. It really did weigh on me, and I just had to get it off my chest!
So what did he do?
Well, it’s who he is. It’s his attitude towards this business...
On one side you have a guy that views this as a job... just a job... It makes my blood boil. Because on the other side you have me. A guy that grew up wanting to be a professional wrestler. It’s the only thing I have ever wanted to be. It is my passion. It’s the reason I get up in the morning. It’s the reason why I put my body on the line every time I step in the ring. Because this isn’t just a job, it’s a way of life. And people like Radek Dayz, people that disrespect this business, offend me. This business deserves better. It deserves people like me. People that are dedicated. People that give more than they take. And when I encounter people that take this business for granted, people that give nothing back... well, let’s just say it makes me want to hurt them and take them out of the equation.
Am I a sadist?
No, but I stand up for what I believe in. I am willing to fight for what I am passionate about. I have spent a career shedding blood, sweat and tears for this business. So I will defend it until my last breath, because people like Radek, they disrespect this business with their attitude and way of life. That is what he did to offend me. That is why I hurt him and made an example of him. I want my actions at Killshot to stand as a warning to any one that thinks they can take this company or this business for a ride. If you try it on, you will have to deal with me, and just ask Radek how that turned out for him.
Now let’s get onto the next matter at hand...
Last week I made history by wrestling and winning the first match in Metro:Pro Wrestling. But I cannot sit on my hands. I cannot expect that everything will fall into place and be handed to me on a silver platter. This business doesn’t work like that, and I am glad that is how things work. To get anywhere in this business you need to fight for every opportunity, and when one is presented to you, you need to grasp it with both hands. Opportunities aren’t fruitful, especially opportunities like the one that I have in front of me on Sunday night.
A qualification match in the Empire Championship Tournament.
This week I have the chance to take the first big step towards where I want to go. You see, I am an honest man. I haven’t hidden my intentions and goals behind smoke and mirrors. I have made people aware that I want to become the first Empire Wrestling Champion. I have made people aware that I want to become the most dominant wrestler on this roster. And I am not afraid to make that bold proclamation. Why? Because I have made my name in this business for being the guy that gets the job done.
Now I appreciate there are a lot of talented wrestlers between me and my goal, but that doesn’t discourage me. It doesn’t make me doubt my God given ability. In fact, it motivates me to go that extra mile. To give that extra effort in training. To do whatever it takes in the ring to get the job done. Folks, that is how dedicated I am towards my wrestling career and achieving my goals. And this week, I am going to prove it to the world!
This week I face Aura Williams. Last week she lost, but this week she gets the same opportunity as me in the Empire Championship Tournament. But she will not get her career back on track. You see, Aura, when we step into the ring this week, I am going to go that extra mile. I am going to do whatever it takes. And doll, listen to me carefully, don’t cross me. Don’t make me have to hurt you. Don’t make me have to cross the line. Be respectful, and maybe you will walk out of Killshot. But be like Radek and you’ll be leaving on a stretcher.
Doubt me?
Then I dare you to try...
